Job Description Summary
Manages the coordination & movement of materials throughout the plant and warehouse, outside storage & yard. Continually seeks out opportunities for improvement in material storage & flow, process & reporting, systems improvements. Leads a high-performance work team of schedulers, team leaders & operators in all aspects of interplant logistics and warehouse operations. Effectively manages the operating life of key material handling assets and building infrastructure to enable lowest delivered cost. 5 years related experience. Scope: Large, complex facility or multi-site responsibility. This role will be the main point of contact on the night shift and weekends with a tentative schedule of 11PM to 7AM, Wednesday through Sunday.

Manages the coordination & movement of materials throughout the plant and warehouse, outside storage & yards; Continually seeks out opportunities for improvement in material storage & flow, process & reporting, systems improvements, Leads high performance Material Handlers and Warehouse Loaders in all aspects of interplant logistics and warehouse operations; Effectively manages the operating life of key material handling assets and building infrastructure to enable correct products to be in the correct location in correct amounts in the most cost effective manner. Adheres to all Food Safety and Quality Standards, specifically SQF systems.
Position Responsibilities
- Monitor safety within the department to ensure safe and efficient operation

{=html} <!-- --> - Manage, direct and control warehouse activities over all inventory levels on all shifts.
{=html} <!-- --> - Fully support SAP, Manifest and ASI systems, all training, and adherence to achieve warehouse objectives

{=html} <!-- --> - Directly coordinate shipping and receiving with plant locations & IMC\'s
{=html} <!-- --> - Assist in developing cost savings by participating in special projects and continuously improving the warehouse process
