Responsibilities  

Position Summary:

Provide Engineering support and project management skills toward the design, development, installation, startup, validation, and maintenance of products, processes, and equipment. Provide technical expertise within a specialty field(s).

  • Strong background in Automation  Assembly systems, Manufacturing Experience, Solidworks and Autocad drafting software.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and a working knowledge of software such as MS Excel and Word.
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze, investigate and help solve technical issues involving the equipment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Be a team player.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Be a self-starter and proactive.
  • Strong Knowledge of equipment safety and machine guarding procedures.
  • Ability to provide technical support and assists troubleshooting equipment when unscheduled downtime occurs.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties:

  • Develops, evaluates and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
  • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules or other information to facilitate production processes.
  • Confers with vendors in order to determine specifications of products and arrange equipment, material purchase and parts.
  • Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards.

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 06-08 years related experience required.

  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.

  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.

  • Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
