Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

This position is responsible for the assembly of axles and related components on the line. The main objective is to ensure a quality axle product for placement to the chassis line in a safe and timely fashion, ensuring all products are assembled, tested, and verified to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build axles and related assemblies efficiently and with a focus on quality.

• Achieve productivity, safety, and quality goals set by the company.

• Report any issues that could interfere with the delivery of axles or related assemblies to the chassis line or final customer to the line leader, supervisor, or direct manager.

• Maintain a clean working environment.

• Observe and comply with company policies, including work instructions, SOPs, and safety rules.

• Support Quality and Environmental Policies and Management Systems.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This is a production facility with 6 assembly lines. The shifts are Monday to Friday, with the 1st shift running from (the person) and the 2nd shift from 3pm to 12:30am. Required PPE includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt, with eye, ear, and hand protection provided by the company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alburtis, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
