Job Title: Sr. Quality EngineerJob Description
The Quality Engineer supports and responds to customer needs related to product quality assurance. Collaborating with the Customer Focused Team, this role executes quality processes and standards to meet customer and organizational goals. Reporting to the Business Unit Quality Leader and receiving daily direction from Customer Focused Team Leaders, the Quality Engineer indirectly leads Quality Inspectors and Technicians in achieving customer quality objectives.
Responsibilities
Collect data for quality performance analysis using industry-standard tools.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify reasons for production quality issues.
Suggest corrective actions to mitigate quality-related issues.
Prepare and present quality data reports, including company-wide quality KPIs, to quality management.
Work closely with production personnel in work cells, assisting with procedure training.
Collaborate with Customer Focus Team members to directly support and interact with customers.
Provide support and flexibility in customer projects, objectives, and deadlines beyond the normal job scope as required.
Oversee quality performance of assigned work cells.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Assist in the setup and workflow of customer work cells.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
A technical degree plus 4 years' experience in Quality Assurance, manufacturing/process engineering, preferably in electronics PCB assembly environment; OR a 2-year technical diploma/certificate in Electronics with 6 years' experience.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronics engineering, manufacturing, or quality, preferably in a high tech or electronics industry.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and standards.
Experience in performing quality audits for internal teams and vendors.
Proficiency with industry-standard quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8-D, Control Plans, Acceptance Sampling, Metrology-GRR, Process Capability Analysis.
Knowledge of IPC electronic manufacturing standards.
Experience in cGMP FDA 21 CFR Part 820, AS9100, AS9102, and ISO environments.
Desired certifications: Six Sigma - Green/Black Belt, ASQ CQE, CQA.
Highly proficient in MS Office Word and PowerPoint with advanced knowledge in Excel.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver results accurately and on time.
Capable of working independently to achieve project schedules and goals.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional and cross-cultural work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills adaptable to all organizational levels.
Experienced in providing coaching, feedback, and assisting in conflict resolution.
Comfortable presenting to and meeting customers in person.
Ability to communicate clearly in a proactive, positive manner, even when delivering negative messages.
Strong learning mindset.
Work Environment
This position is on-site. Employees enjoy a reimbursable relocation package, 3 weeks of PTO at the start of employment, and a 6% quarterly bonus structure.
