Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a Project Manager, you will be playing a pivotal role in managing both residential and commercial construction projects. Your tasks will span from project initiation to completion, including the management of budgets, schedules, change orders, submittals, and job costing.
Responsibilities: Must have excellent estimating experience.
• Collaborate effectively with the team for the successful execution of projects
• Communicate proficiently in both written and spoken forms to ensure clear understanding and coordination
• Manage multiple tasks within given timeframes, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule
• Implement cost and time-saving measures to optimize project execution
• Monitor and ensure adherence to quality control processes throughout the lifecycle of the project
• Handle day-to-day project operations, ensuring smooth workflow
• Regularly update and analyze project schedules to keep track of progress
• Engage in necessary client and team meetings, facilitating clear and effective communication
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients, vendors, and architects for future opportunities
• Utilize tools like Project Management Software, Office Suite, Atlassian Jira, and CRM to manage project schedules and customer interactions effectively
• Stay informed about OSHA health and safety requirements and ensure they are upheld at project sites
• Manage changes in project scope using appropriate tools and methodologies
• Regularly communicate work progress, schedule variance, crew, and safety performance to stakeholders to keep them informed
• Oversee tenant improvement works, ensuring best practices are followed.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager - Estimating /5-10-million-dollar projects.
• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management
• Experience with CRM systems for managing customer relationships
• Knowledge of database management and systems
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Experience with IBM software and systems
• Knowledge of 'About Time' project management software
• Understanding of budget processes in project management
• Experience in construction project management
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to manage and deliver project deliverables on time
• Experience in tenant improvement projects
