Job Description:

ASRC FederalNetCentricTechnology, LLCis seeking an Electrician - Maintenance to support ongoing activities onourKirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS)contract at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Summary :

TheElectrician - Maintenanceperforms preventive and corrective maintenance to ensurethat all electrical workcomplies withthe National Electric Code (NEC)and KAFB Design Guide Standards.

• Maintainsand repairslowvoltage(600voltsandbelow)realpropertyelectricalsystemsto meetthe NEC,andapplicable jurisdictional references, to ensure safe and reliable electrical systems.

• Responsible for transformers,streetlights, grounding equipment, and other systems to achieve the most efficient and economicalusage of electrical power.

• Responds to customer service calls ina timelyand efficient manner, troubleshoots and performs repairs as needed. Performs tasks to fulfill service requirementsand account fortimeandmaterialin accordance withcontractual requirements foremergency, routine, and preventativework tasks.

• Completes necessary documentationin accordance withthe company’sprocesses and the customer’sservicerequirements.

• Communicates with central dispatch,shoplead,andsupervisoron current work order status and receives updates on outstanding customer issues daily following theservice process(es).

• Participates in an after-hourson-demandservice program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform workrequiredfor the repair, maintenance,installation,and modernization of electrical and fire alarm systems for buildings, equipment,and grounds.

• Locate anddetermineelectrical malfunctions using test equipment.

• Repair malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses, and replacing defective wiring,cleaning,and repairing motors.

• Test electrical equipment, such as motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency, using standard test equipment and byobservingfunctions.

• Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment.

• Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.

• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum education level of high school diploma,orGED equivalent.

• Current EE98J, State of New MexicoJourneymanlicense.

• Knowledge of electrical principlespertaining tointerior and exterior power.

• Be able to read and interpret building diagrams and technical manuals.

• Excellent organizational, time management,and customer service skills.

• Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and prepare daily reports.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.

• Possess competent and effective computer skills to include using Microsoft Office 365 applications.

• Must have proficient English oral and written communication skills sufficient to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers.

• Must be a US citizen and currentlypossessor be able to obtain/maintaina U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• Mustpossessand maintain a valid US driver's license.

• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

• Have ability to perform repetitive physical tasks involving lifting at least 50 lbs.

• Be committed to providing for andmaintaininga safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working in Department of Defense or other government environment.

• Journeymen’s license issuedby one of the following statesthroughreciprocitywith New Mexico.
