Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a highly motivated individual to join our Albany, NY Office to assist with on ongoing project that involves a field assignment. This is a temporary 6 month assignment.

• Participate or lead field assignments including observation of geotechnical construction.
• Participate in construction observation and special inspections.
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with contractors, clients, and team members.
• Weekend and overtime work may be required; limited overnight and interstate travel may be required with this position.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 1-2 of years' related experience or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Geology with 1-2 years of experience.
• EIT or GIT certification is required.
• Experience with soils classification and preparation of construction observation documents.
• Candidate must have consistent means of transportation to/from project sites and a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Drug testing is required for this position.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
