The Information Technology Technician is a member of the Help Desk responsible for providing high-quality IT support services and solutions that meet enterprise infrastructure goals.

Primary responsibilities include delivering and expanding critical IT services, infrastructure, and standards, executing technical projects successfully, planning for future IT needs, and documenting IT guidelines and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

2 Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various IT issues, such as hardware failures, software errors, network problems, and user queries.

  1. Assist with system upgrades, network migrations, and software rollouts to ensure smooth and efficient transitions and implementations.

  2. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory to ensure security and compliance.

  3. Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software assets and documents and track their usage and status.

  4. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures and take corrective actions as needed to prevent and resolve security breaches and incidents.

7.Assist in the creation and maintenance of IT documentation, such as user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures to facilitate user education and support.

8.Provide basic network support, such as troubleshooting connectivity issues and assisting with network configurations to ensure network availability and functionality.

9 Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and system updates to ensure system reliability and availability.

  1. Attend the bi-weekly IT Operations Meetings with status update on current projects and issues. Qualifications

An associate degree or certification in an Information Technology Services related field, or 3 years of work experience in an Information Technology support related position . Relevant information technology (IT) certifications, such as certified data professional (CDP) or CompTIA Security+

Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals.

Knowledge of network support, system security, and IT documentation Working Conditions

On-site work: You will work on-site for three days a week Monday through Friday, 8 hours each day. Remote work is only allowed for off-hour user support.

Manual labor: You will be required to do some heavy lifting and other manual labor tasks.

Local travel: You will travel locally to work in the field and verify service Divisions

Technical support: You will provide technical support and remote administration 24/7 as needed.
