Job Description

Working in the warehouse side of the production facility, contractors will be responsible for palletizing boxes of chips and wrapping them after they have been packaged. They will spend the majority of their day on the forklift, approximately 70-80% of their shift. Duties include racking large skids in tall racking systems, loading and unloading docked trailers, pulling customer orders, and receiving inbound orders using the WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift for 70-80% of the shift

• Palletize and wrap boxes of chips

• Rack large skids in tall racking systems

• Load and unload docked trailers

• Pull customer orders and receive inbound orders using WMS system

Essential Skills

• 1 year Stand Up forklift experience (Crown Brand) dock stocker preferred or reach OR 3+ years standard Raymond reach or dockstocker

• Experience with forklift, material handling, and palletizing

• Knowledge of WMS systems, RF scanners, and inventory management

• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management

• Ability to stand for 12 hours

Work Environment

Upon entering the warehouse, workers must put on a lab coat and a full face/head hair mask, then wash and dry their hands at the hand wash station. The facility is slightly warm from the fryers, however, forklift operators will not be working directly in the production area but right outside, going in and out of production doors to pick up fully packed products. The facility is incredibly clean and tidy, as it is a food manufacturing facility. Shift options include 1x Afternoons M-F / 3 PM-11:30 PM and 1x Nights M-F / 11 PM-7:30 AM. PPE required: steel-toed boots.
