Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operational management system within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, managing a team of operational professionals, and ensuring that operations meet or exceed customer expectations. The Operations Manager conducts regular audits, reviews operational performance data, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing operational documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and reporting on operational performance to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Managing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the organization

• Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies

• Monitoring and analyzing operational metrics to improve efficiency and productivity

• Coordinating with different departments to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Identifying and resolving operational issues and challenges

• Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards

• Managing inventory and procurement processes

• Overseeing budget and cost control measures

• Training and developing team members to improve performance

• Collaborating with senior management to define goals and strategies

• Conducting regular audits to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement

• Maintaining records and preparing reports on operations and performance

• Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to streamline processes and improve overall operations

• Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).

• In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.

• Experience with conducting inventory audits and implementing process improvements.

• Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve inventory issues

• Proven ability to influence and drive change across various levels of the organization.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.

• Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
