Summary About the Position: This Program Manager (Product Lead Acquisition) position is assigned to the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications-Tactical Network (PEO C3T), PMO MISSION COMMAND (6JE) PDL MCSC DIVISION Located in APG, MD. Responsibilities Serves as Product Lead for assigned Acquisition system and/or related acquisition program. Responsible for all aspects of acquisition to include development, testing, system integration, production, fielding, sustainment and product improvements with a multi-million dollar annual budget. Oversees POM planning, cost estimating, program planning, programming, budgeting, program integration, interoperability and oversight. Keeps informed of current developments in the technical field and maintains oversight of the integration of the project system with other systems. Perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties. Review programming documents received from HQDA to determine effect on assigned programs. Maintain continuous liaison and monitors collaborative planning with pertinent military users, DA staff and other agencies to render advice and counsel on assigned management activities. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Leading an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in developing and executing program plans; 2) Directing the development of life cycle documents for assigned projects and/or funds; and, 3) Providing guidance on operating procedures, concepts and/or policies to be implemented within the organization. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Acquisition Strategy Communications Manages Human Resources Project Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (NH-03 or GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 14 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 15 grade step 10 in the broadband. You will be required to undergo background investigation leading to the successful adjudication of eligibility for a SECRET security clearance. Derogatory information developed during the background investigation, such as a criminal history, could render the selectee ineligible for both the security clearance and continued employment in the position, if already appointed.
